Growing up in border villages of Kashmir, educated youth found doors closing on them—job opportunities were few, and the media often misrepresented communities like theirs. Rather than accepting the silence or distortion, they built their own path by establishing media studios. Their work challenges stereotypes, brings nuance to national conversations, and gives their communities a voice they’ve long been denied.
