Kneading a Fresh Start
In 10th grade, he had to leave school and start working. With no opportunities in Lasipora, he moved to Srinagar, where he spent five years training in a bakery, mastering everything from baking techniques to business management. Returning home, he saw how people still lacked access to fresh bread and decided to open the first bakery in Lasipora. His initiative became a model of change, showing how learning a skill and applying it locally can solve everyday challenges. Today, his bakery not only meets a daily need but also creates jobs and strengthens the local economy.
