In the border villages of Kashmir, skilled youth knew their trades—plumbing, electrical work, carpentry—but lacked the resources to turn their skills into something sustainable to make skilled services accessible to border villages. Motivated for change, they stepped up—training, equipping themselves, and launching their own businesses. Today, they’re not only building local economies, but also proving that self-reliance can begin with a single skilled hand.
